Raised in the British Virgin Islands, I moved to get my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, graduating from Temple University. Once I graduated I decided to go back home and help the community I grew up in. While there, I taught chemistry, math, and junior and senior biology at a private elementary school. I also helped kids excel in science, both of these for three years. I have taught subjects ranging from trig to geometry, however, my true love is chemistry and biology. In my humble opinion, education helps to build character and intelligence in students. I try to present learning as something as fun as possible for the children I teach, by boosting their capacity to learn through fun activities and lessons. My favorite moment in teaching was preparing my kids for the Caribbean Secondary Education Council. This process lasted for two years and ended with a 100 percent pass rate, making all of us very proud. During my free time, I like to actively play basketball, talk about football, and write poetry. I also like to play video games when time allows. I look forward to tutoring you or your student and teaching you that learning can indeed be fun.
